I fully expected that Microsoft would have made an appearance at the public release of Yosemite but I might as well have been asking for a pink pony to show up.

Office 2011 for Mac is great (their have been many improvements since Office 2008). Anyway Microsoft has committed to their 3 year release cycle, but there is no beta or other news relating to Office 2014. Does anyone know when they are expecting to release it, or even a preview / beta? On this basis we expect that the new version of Office 2014 for Mac will launch in early 2014. It could launch as soon as January, exactly a year after Microsoft launched Office 2013 for Windows. ‎Read reviews, compare customer ratings, see screenshots, and learn more about 한컴오피스 한글 2014 VP 뷰어. If you are the largest software vendor for Apple outside of Apple and a lot of business users depend on your suite, wouldn’t you at least have a press release stating that Office 2011 works on Yosemite and that you’re hard at work on the next version and excited about cool new features?

Microsoft could have garnered a ton of free publicity with a press release on the day of Apple’s announcements that but all I hear are crickets. For sure the Mac community loves to be delighted by “an one more thing” but when you have millions of users who make a living off your software, at least a quick blog entry on the current version might be warranted.

Just saying…
